About Life After

Life After was formed in 2017 after families identified a lack of specialist support for those bereaved by road traffic collisions. The organisation was created by families who understood the trauma, grief, and practical challenges that can follow a fatal collision.

Who we are

Life After is a Northern Ireland-based support organisation for families affected by road traffic collisions, especially bereaved families and people traumatised by collision-related loss or injury.

We are a group of families supporting families who have suffered the loss of a loved one due to a road traffic collision. Our support is shaped by people who understand the impact of road traffic loss.

Life After supports families across the United Kingdom in a professional and confidential manner. We help families in the aftermath of traumatic loss, offering practical and emotional support when it is needed most.

Our mission

Life After supports families bereaved by fatal road traffic collisions. The organisation helps families in a professional and confidential manner, and also works to educate, advise, inform, and support road users with the aim of reducing fatal and serious collisions.
