Support after a road traffic collision

Life After supports families who have lost a loved one, or whose lives have been deeply affected, by a road traffic collision. We provide compassionate support, practical guidance, counselling, advocacy, court support, and family support meetings.

Since 2017

Families supporting families

Life After was formed in 2017 after families identified a lack of specialist support for those bereaved by road traffic collisions. The organisation was created by families who understood the trauma, grief, and practical challenges that can follow a fatal collision.

Today, Life After supports families across the United Kingdom through counselling, advocacy, court support, family meetings, youth support, remembrance events, and road safety awareness.

Promoting road safety awareness

Alongside family support, Life After promotes road safety awareness throughout the year. Through talks, presentations, and community engagement, we work to reduce the number of serious and fatal road traffic collisions.
